Niall Mellon Township Trust

Township Trust is calling on all South Africans, either as individuals or as part of a corporation, to contribute financially or volunteer their time for a day full day on one of the building sites.
The trust believes that it is crucially important for South Africans to assist other others in achieving the basic human right of having a decent place to live.
Corporate, individual and NGO programmes provide the means for all South Africans to make a contribution to the charity.

Ons Plek Girls’ Shelter

Each year almost 100 - 150 girls between 6 and 18 years leave home to fend for themselves on the streets of Cape Town. The girls have left home to escape physical abuse and neglect or have been sent away as a result of their families not being able to support them.
Once the children have crossed the threshold into Ons Plek they are not there as street children, but as children who are looking for a new place in society.
For them Ons Plek is not a project for female street children, but a place, OUR PLACE, where ‘sifunda ukuphila’ — we learn for our future lives.
Be a part of the girls’ future lives and donate to Ons Plek.

The Warehouse

The Warehouse is a charity, based in Cape Town, which provides disadvantaged communities with various forms of support. The aim of the organisation is to equip and mobilise the church, so that it becomes the agent of transformational development.

With prayer at the heart of their strategy, The Warehouse provides workshops that promote the handing down of skills, experience and information that would lead to a sustainable effort, in the attempt to resolve poverty related issues.
In South Africa, unemployment can reach up to 40%  in some communities, and the HIV infection rate is 30% city wide.
You can donate and do your part in alleviating the strain within South African communities today.
